Trouble printing Gmail Uber Receipt

I am on OSX 10.9.5 running chrome.Want to print out my Uber receipts but can not. The system stalls while trying to do print preview and nothing prints. Oddly enough I CAN print other emails without any problem. Ideas of a fix?

Any reason you haven't tried other browsers? Safari and Firefox may be able to work around the issue.

You could always print to pdf and then print it? See if taking the printer itself one stage out of the loop helps.

Chrome uses pdf.js by default to view PDF files, and pdf.js has all kinds of irritating ways to make printing fail.

If you enter chrome:plugins in the address bar, then click the Disable link under the "Chrome PDF Viewer" plugin entry, you should find that Chrome downloads PDFs instead of viewing them, which should allow OS X to open them in the same sane PDF reader that Safari is using.

The official Acrobat Reader works in all kinds of sketchy edge cases. Yeah, it's a bloated mess but it does work.

Perhaps try going to the Uber website and printing out one of the pages from there instead of the email?
