Looking to buy or make a flask shaped like a gavel.

For Reasons, I have decided that the perfect Christmas present for my dude would be a wooden gavel that doubles as a flask. Surprisingly, the internet is not providing for me here.

I've searched pretty thoroughly and come up with nothing, but I do have a woodworker friend who is willing to help me make one -- I just need to buy the vessel that the gavel will be built around. What would such a vessel be called? "small stainless steel flask for the inside of a gavel" is not yielding useful results. Am I over/under-thinking this idea? (My friend and I have discussed that one of the wooden ends of the gavel will be attached to the lid of the flask, and will unscrew to allow for covert gavel drinking.)

Have you tried searching for tube hip flask or cylinder hip flask?

Don't know if this is at all helpful but Avon used to make one of these for perfume. Possibly repurposeable.

My late wife (an attorney) loved the law book she had that hid a flask. It came from Bender Bound. Some years ago, I wrote to them to ask if they did custom jobs—i.e., could you send them a book of your choosing and have them flask-ify it. They said yes! I never wound up taking them up on it, but if there's anyone who might be willing to turn a gavel into into a flask, it'd be those guys.
