Best Apple Store in Atlanta for quick repair?

Hi, refugee from the Hurricane Matthew evac, staying in Columbus, GA with a suddenly dead Macbook Pro. There are 4 Apple stores in Atlanta, which is best for making an appointment for someone to look at it today? It has to be today.

The laptop got extremely hot yesterday and I shut it down. When I powered it up today, the white sleep light blinked and the startup chime sounded, then everything cut off. When I connect the Magsafe connector, there's no green light indicating charging. The connector works fine with the other 2008 Macbook, so it's definitely not the Magstrip.

I tried the holding the power button down for 10 seconds thing and then attempting a restart. Nothing. I've checked to ensure that nothing is obstructing the Magsafe connection on the laptop.

So at this point, I'm thinking of running up Atlanta to get it looked at. But there's four of them, so which do y'all recommend for making an appointment and possibly fixed TODAY. I can't leave it.

I live in Atlanta, and my experience in recent years has been that I haven't even been able to make a same-day appointment with an Apple Store at all. Usually, I've found that the North Point store, north of Atlanta, has a shorter wait time for appointments than other stores, but even then I have to wait a few days. I think that your first step has to be to look at the app/website that lets you make Genius Bar appointments and see if any of the stores have one available.

I lived in Atlanta for six years, but I'm not sure what we can tell you beyond checking their appointments that are available today.

Response by poster: Oh, was just hoping there was a particular one with notably better service, response. But not a big deal, we're not rushing back, so can maybe schedule something further out.

My experience with the Atlanta Apple stores is the same as capsizing - difficult/impossible to get anything like same day service. I'd suggest you try Onyx. Closed today, but if you are not rushing back, it is an option for tomorrow. They replaced a motherboard on a MacBook Pro under warranty for me and it was a great experience. They are small enough that I think you can just explain your circumstances and they'll work with you.
