Best way to wirelessly connect two sets of headphones to a phone

I like to listen to the same podcasts as my girlfriend while going for walks, but using a cable splitter and wired headphones is pretty frustrating. Is there a good way to either connect two pairs of headsets over bluetooth and/or listen on one set of plugged in wired headsets while the other person listens wirelessly over bluetooth?

We'd be using an iPhone 6S+

You want a bluetooth transmitter (linked for example) but plugged into your cable splitter.
If you want both to be wireless, get two.

An alternative is to simply each have your own podcast playing device and syncing when you hit play.

Looks like there's also this, which claims to support two bluetooth devices.
