Firefox Flash

How do I get Firefox (47.0.1) to stop asking me about Flash? I want to answer "Yes, I want Flash to run here, there, and everywhere, always! Stop nagging me!"

Yes, I'm aware that there are security concerns about Flash. I don't care.

Response by poster: Yes, I know that when I get that nag I can answer "Remember that I want to say yes here every time." But that doesn't stop it from nagging me when I visit somewhere else for the first time. I want the nags to go away completely even for first visits.

Best answer: I don't use FF anymore so cannot double check this but recall this somewhat:

Type about:addons in the address bar.

Go to Plugins > Shockwave Flash > and change to Always Active or however that is worded.

Firefox will also block flash by default if there is a security issue and you haven't yet updated to the latest version of flash, regardless of whether you chose "Always Activate" for the plugin configuration.

Response by poster: The problem is that Firefox thinks I have two versions of flash installed: Version 9 and Version 22 (the latest). There doesn't seem to be any way to uninstall version 9 and that's the one that is freaking FF out. Both of them are listed in the page the Webmistress listed, and I have now set it so that version 9 is "never activate" and version 22 is "always activate", and we'll see how it goes.
