Overdrive question (the reading app from libraries)

How can I zoom in on images within OverDrive? I enjoy reading books on my iPad. But for the life of me I cannot figure out how to pinch and zoom (enlarge) images within this app. I've checked the help section (and of course Google) but I can't find anything. I find it hard to believe that I am the only one with this problem. Recently I downloaded a graphic novel, and I couldn't even read the text because the images were so small. Please help!

I've had a play around with it, and I found in an eBook open in the app (epub format), if you long tap on an image it opens up in a window on top and you can zoom in and out.

I'm not able to read graphic novels in the app, only in the browser (I'm on android, so things maybe different for you), they don't come in epub format. The one I'm reading at the moment doesn't seem to be in fixed-layout that irisclara's link talks about, as you can change the font size etc, except, as it's a graphic novel that does diddly squat. But it means there's no option to zoom that I can see. So if the book's not set up fixed-layout, tough, I guess?

I have my Overdrive books sent to the (free) Kindle app on my iPad and I have never had issues with zooming.
