a nice place for wardrobe

What weblogs/websites would you recommend for high fashion and/or expensive cosmetics, as found at Neiman Marcus and other stores.

A nice place where sub haute couture (boutique clothing or make up) is covered?

My wife seems to enjoy Sephora.

Daily Candy covers a lot of up and coming designers and is especially good if you live in one of the cities they have a dedicated edition for.

The Manolo is very funny and blogs about the shoes. (In fact, his blogroll of fashion blogs in the sidebar of that page is probably a great place for you to start.)

Makeup Alley has reviews and freakishly obsessed posters.

The Fashion Spot
Lux Boards

As with all message boards, "nice-ness" can vary, but I've enjoyed these places for that kind of info from time to time. I also recommend Makeup Alley.

Paula Begoun's site is good. She wrote Don't Go To The Cosmetics Counter Without Me, Don't Go Shopping for Haircare Products Without Me and The Beauty Bible, among other things. She has loads of product reviews on her site, with ingredient analyses and stuff. Yes, she does have her own line of stuff, but her reviews seem unbiased and there's a lot of other general cosmetic information on the site too.
