Handbrake defaults to Full Screen/TV vs Widescreen on single DVD rip

I only run into this once in a while. Some older or cheaper DVDs that have both Full Screen and Widescreen on one dvd will default to ripping the Full Screen. It isn't often but am not sure if my setting is off.

The Anamorphic is "loose" and set to "keep aspect ratio". I'm using one of the tablet settings in Handbrake and has worked well on 90 % of my old dvds that were mostly widescreen. This particular one is Jeepers Creeper. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Best answer: I don't think I have a dual-resolution DVD to check, but at the top left in the "Source" section there's a select dropdown box for "Title." Check to see if there are multiple entries.

Response by poster: Ahh.. I may have made a rookie mistake. I thought I did but double-checked and see a second one at bottom of equal length. Will go w/ that one and it should work fine.

If I’m confused by which title is which on a DVD I usually play the disc in VLC where under the Playback menu there is an entry for Title which shows the currently playing title so you can work out which title number is the one you’re interested in ripping. It saves the time spent with trial and error ripping the wrong title.
