Bookable signs/marquees in Maine?

I would like to have an important birthday message displayed on a sign or marquee in a town within 5-10 miles of the highway, somewhere between the Vermont/Maine state line and Portland/Falmouth, ME. Difficulty level: this coming weekend-ish (May 29-June 1)! Do you have a Hail Mary you could throw my way? Thanks in advance.

Response by poster: If it helps, I'm thinking of the kinds of signs in front of churches, Dairy Queens, movie theaters, etc.

Sorry I can't help, but do you mean the NH/ME border or the VT/NH border?

Calling the local chambers of commerce might get you some results. Most places I see doing this sort of thing are local automotive repair places, for some reason.

Try contacting Funtown/Splashtown in Saco. They are right on US Route 1 (which runs parallel and very close to the highway the full length of your route), has a giant digital sign, and is a place that does birthday parties so they might not think the request was weird even without the party.

Another option might be The Maine Mall in South Portland, which has not one but two large digital signs.

If you can't find a business that will let you alter their digital sign, maybe you can rent a sign and have it placed somewhere for just a day?

If you have time, using Google Maps to take a run up US Route 1 might reveal other possibilities.
