Cartoon of...the futility of war?

Help me find this cartoon from my youth!

There was this cartoon I saw maybe 20+ years ago on some cable channel - maybe the movie channel or maybe Spike and Mikes? It was a black and white pen drawing (I think) that starts with a quiet field with crickets, and then people come in (maybe two people) and they become more and more aggressive with one another until they get into a battle and then kill each other and then there is the quiet field with the crickets, and this repeats over and over again. I'm guessing the message was that war is futile?

I'd love to find this cartoon somewhere again. Any ideas?
