Leather care for printed leather

I've just bought a lovely pair of Doc Martens which have an all-over print on them. I want to keep the print (and the leather) in as good a condition as possible. I have the end of a tube of Kiwi Sport Dubbin gel which I've used with much success on other (though plainer) Docs, but it seems like they don't make this any more. What's the best stuff to use?

I've tried some wax dubbins on other pairs of Docs, and found that it left residue in the seams. Similarly, on other Docs, Nikwax leather conditioner seemed to just sit on the surface and not really condition the leather. These are the boots, if that makes any difference, and having owned a number of pairs of Docs I realise that some cracking around the points that they bend is inevitable.

I'd like my boots to be waterproof, supple, and the print preserved as far as possible. I'm in the UK, so need something I can get my hands on here. Does this exist?

Best answer: I'm a big fan of Leather Honey, YMMV.

Best answer: I asked this a few months ago for my flocked Docs. I ended up asking DM directly.. here's the question and answers.

Response by poster: Thanks! I didn't see the question about the flocked DMs - my search-fu was obviously weak :)
