warmest, coziest, softest waterproof boots (Vancouver)

I'm working on a show right now that is shooting at night outside of Vancouver. Production has provided knock-off Uggs as warmup boots for performers, but they run small and don't fit my feet. I tried to buy myself some real live Uggs but my high arches mean I can't even get my foot in.

SO. I need to buy soft, water-resistant or waterproof (we're working outdoors, overnights, 16 hours at a time, and the ground is very wet), soft-like-butter, warm-like-taking-a-cozy-nap boots that I can buy tomorrow before noon in downtown Vancouver. I'm staying near Robson and Jervis, so walking distance would be ideal. I've tried Browns, Ugg, Winners, and Payless.

Help my toes not freeze!

How about Sorels? At the Bay on Georgia and Granville? Not super cute but warm for sure

Best answer: I don't know where they'd be available, but I've owned a couple of pairs of Khombu fleece-lined boots and they're super warm and comfortable.

Best answer: Go to MEC and get a pair of Baffins? Might be overkill but they are lightweight, waterproof and warm and not too spendy. There are several MEC stores in Vancouver (Mountain Equipment Coop, but I'm assuming you know that!). I'd also recommend trying the Columbia women's Minx Omni Heat if by "soft" you mean not clunky and not stiff leather. They are fairly slipper like for winter boots. Northface makes a really similar boot to the Minx in down called the Thermoball. Not sure where you buy those in Vancouver but I'm sure you can google it. And Zappos has a canadian site that will overnight you shoes and carry both Columbia and Northface.

Sorel boots are very warm and waterproof but ymmv on the softness quotient. They, sadly, no longer make their stellar sheepskin boots.

Best answer: Seconding khombu. Mine are very soft and very warm. They're waterproof. I've walked many many miles in mine and they've held up (budget friendly as well). They're comfortable enough I want to leave then on inside, but they're too warm for it.
