Psychology conference question

I will be giving a presentation at the International Congress of Psychology in Yokohama this summer. It’s my first time at a psych conference, and also at a conference as large as this.

I usually attend small to medium sized conferences in education, communication, or media, so I am unsure how different this conference will be.

Can any MeFites offer guidance on what this particular conference is like, or what psychology conferences generally are like? Alternatively, if you are familiar with large conferences what have you learned about navigating them?

Do not have drinks at the hospitality suite the night before your presentation. Learned the hard way.
