What is this mystery logo?

On occasion, I see large-ish stickers of a red-and-white logo that have been put up on signs, utility boxes, construction hoardings, bus shelters, etc. The best way I can describe it is that it looks like a cross between the New England Patriots logo and a slightly abstract/geometic handgun.

I've always assumed it's some sort of guerrilla marketing for a record label or clothing line. Any ideas? This is in Southern California. (Sorry, I've never managed to take a picture of it, usually because I only ever seem to see it while I'm driving.)

Response by poster: That's it! I've somehow never read it as an "F."
