What is some music like Amesoeurs, but without the black metal bits?

I'm utterly, completely entranced by Amesoeurs' self-titled album, but when I look for recommendations similar to the band, I understandably only find black metal and atmospheric metal bands. What I want is something more like the songs after the jump.
Here's a bunch of songs that I like from the album I mentioned:
Amesoeurs
Video Girl
Faux Semblants
Les Ruches Malades
I favour the female vocals, and the relatively shoegazey rock (apologies if I got the genres completely wrong), not so much the other songs by Amesoeurs that have black metal screeching (although that is fine in moderation).
So, what music will I like?

Response by poster: @Itaxpica: I'll give it a listen! And I'm okay with both black metal screeching and ethereal female vocals, so long as the former does not overpower the latter.
@srednivashtar: Ah, I should've mentioned I'm already familiar with Alcest! I love their newest album. Thanks for the recommendation, though. It's the closest I know to Amesoeurs, but still not as close enough as I'd like.

The first few Alcest albums are closest in tone to Amesoeurs. For atmospherics and a general thrashy, shoegazey vibe you might like Wolves in the Throne Room.

Best answer: Anathema
Anything after about 2001 puts me in the same boat that Amesoeurs puts me in. There is a huge catalog of music to go over during the past fifteen years from them. The closer you get to 2001, the closer the music sounds like Pink Floyd. The closer it gets to 2015, the heavier on more it wounds like what Amesoeurs and Alcest is doing, and gets heavier on female vocals.
Also look at Les Discrets They run in the same circles I think.

This isn't the same genre you're looking for but you might like Siouxsie Sioux if you don't already know her/them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpHbLwzIla8
Also (totally) different genre but you might like The Gathering since you mentioned fondness of female vocals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5PySbFS6Tg
Also Katatonia (if you don't already know them). Anything after the first couple of albums is depressive rock/shoegaze-y. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXfCD3ApoMc&index=8&list=PLL-zWYz3k2M9USKu3X4vGs8byfrfJwvxO

So you're essentially looking for blackgaze? There's an extensive Spotify playlist for the genre over at Every Noise at Once.

And I'm not sure this is quite what you're after, but there's plenty of "shoegazey rock" with ethereal female vocals being produced at the moment by bands like Esben and the Witch, Thought Forms, Roku Music, and French shoegazers Venera 4, though obviously this takes us some way stylistically from blackgaze.
