Default YouTube songs?!

What are the songs that are in the background of this video and this one and just about every other video on YouTube that has to do with lifestyle planning/organizing/self-help for women?! Is it a default of iMovie? Does YouTube provide default soundtracks? Where is it from?

YouTube does have a library of free music, but those I think are from purple-planet.com. I'm sorry I can't check right now, I'm heading out to work, but I'm pretty sure that's where at least the second one is from.

When you upload a video to YouTube, you can choose music to add to the video from a Library provided by YouTube, free of charge. They've done this to help cut copyright infringement. It's a pretty big library and it has a ton of stuff like this.

If you use the YouTube audio library thing, it will have a line that says "Music" (and then names the music) under the "License" line in description. These don't have that, so they didn't use the audio replace/music thingy.

Response by poster: Yeah I went through YouTube's audio library (by uploading a test video) and I don't see anything that vaguely resembles those songs.

Best answer: The second video uses this royalty-free song (I recognized it because it's popular among Vine users). That YouTube channel has quite a lot of royalty-free music, probably picked up from various sources. There may be sites where people download this type of music for YouTube/Vine/etc., but there are also browser extensions and websites that will just let you grab an MP3 of the audio directly from a video like that.

Best answer: As suggested in the video description of the link above, many of these musical bits are included with iMovie, which many youtubers must be using to edit their videos.
