2 neko atsume accounts?

I need 2 neko atsume/kitty collector accounts. Maybe not need, maybe want. But I have two children and they each want to place, feed, and name the cats in their own way. How can I do this?

Some resources -
1 android phone
1 ASUS Microsoft computer
2 dedicated children (one who likes all kitties and wants them to play all the time, one who only likes Snowball, who has been renamed Leia Organa, and wants all the kitties to have beds)

Will send pictures if successful.

I actually looked into how to get this game earlier today because I read about it in the NYT and from the pictures and description it looked absolutely adorable (as in I want to play it myself....)

From what I found via my earlier googling, it is available both for free both in google play and in itunes. So I would throw each game on the devices that support them (ie, google play onto the android, itunes version onto the microsoft computer). I would look closely at what you enable/disable within the game so that they don't purchase the equivalent of their college educations in virtual goldfish (ie, the top in-app purchase for the game is virtual goldfish).

Assuming that within the app you can have an acct but I haven't tested that yet - but if they are absolutely on separate devices, this confusion shouldn't happen.

You can't have separate accounts on the same device, but each device gets its own account.... my GF and her daughter have separate kitties even though they share an iTunes account.

I don't know enough about iOS/Android emulators to know if you could play a version on your computer. But just in case you're contemplating getting another device, the $50 Kindle Fire works well for the Android version of Neko Atsume (and other games & books).

Response by poster: Kids games require a personalized password with each purchase so I will thankfully not go broke (YET) from fish as my children cannot read or type.

My Android phone supports multiple user profiles; setting up a second profile and switching to it might well result in a second Neko Atsume game that you can play separately.

It ought to, anyway- if you're logged into GMail in one profile you're not logged in to it on the other and so on. So it should work.

Yep, on android, two accounts/identities is the way to resolve this.

Small point re the in-app purchases: they're absolutely not necessary, unless you're just really really impatient to get the more (fish-)expensive toys. The cats bring you plenty of fish over time as long as you keep feeding them, and since there's no real "winning" to it there's no rush to anything.
