Can you help me find a grey maxi (and probably jersey fabric) dress similar to the one Rachel wears in the Friend's episode The One With The Yeti?
Does anyone know where I can get a very close copy of Rachel's grey maxi dress in The One With the Yeti?
What I love about the dress is how simple and elegant it looks. Any ideas where to get one just like this?

Best answer: This is probably pretty close too, and I have several things from this store (after a metafilter recommendation!) and can vouch for the quality!

This one from H&M is a similar color and shape but ribbed.
This ebay one looks very close but has side slits.
I see jersey dresses like that often at the Gap and at H&M (I myself have a short sleeve scoop neck jersey version from the Gap), so keep your eyes out!

I see that and think "American Apparel", looks like they used to make it or something really close but it's not currently on their site.
Everyone's got some variation of the jersey dress, the issue is gonna be finding the one with acceptable-to-you variations. I would add Forever21 to the list of places to keep checking, I see a few that are close but not quite there. Alternative Apparel has this now too.

The recommendation was probably from me...I am a huge fan. Just got leggings and a that side slit tunic in the mail yesterday ;)
I have the dress that mjcon linked to and yep, it's pretty damn good.

Eshakti has some knit maxis and they can be customized.

Seconding the LOFT 415 dress the webmistress has and mjcon linked. I own it in black and the quality is high. I will be getting another.
