What is a good source for written as the episodes aired synopses for Steven Universe? I am late to the show but I'd still like to read what people were thinking as the show unfolded. Please no spoilers, I'm only about halfway through the first season.

Check out the AV Club. It only starts reviewing current episodes toward the end of season 1, but once you've caught up to that, I think it's exactly what you're looking for.

Seconding AV Club's recaps. They're great and enthusiastic. I am also partial to Mefi Fanfare's SU discussions.

Definitely don't miss Fanfare after you catch up -- there is some amazingly great content in there from a couple of users in particular.

The Mary Sue has SU recaps. I don't think they're spoilery (I checked a few of the obvious ones) but I don't think they're real time (at least initially) so probably avoid the comments.
