Does Thunderbird have trouble rendering html-email from YouSendIt?

I subscribe to some naughty yahoo groups. One poster has been sending files via YouSendIt. I am unable to get Thunderbird 1.0.7 to render these emails properly. I can see the whole message when I tell Thunderbird to render the message as plain text, but when I try to view it as html (the default), much of the email is missing.
Are there some settings in Thunderbird I can tweak which might help? What more info do you need to help me diagnose this problem?

Without using Yahoo groups, an HTML mail from YouSendIt rendered fine in my Thunderbird, minus remote images, of course (I disabled that.)

Could you check to see if that works for you?

Perhaps something in the Yahoo Groups HTML is screwing things up? Try changing your Yahoo group setting to send plain text instead of HTML. It's there as an option. (I think it says "convert to HTML" for message delivery.)
