How can I find this obscure Disney Channel bumper?

Back when Big Fat Liar aired on Disney Channel (I'd imagine shortly after it came out in 2002), there was a bumper for it with an original song. Help me find it.

This is the story of a Hollywood jerk
who stole a movie script from a kid's homework
HE'S A BIG FAT LIAR
so he headed to LA to expose his evil ways
HE'S A BIG FAT LAIR

The song is not in the movie, and I'm having huge difficulties tracking it down. I can find other people on the Internet referencing it, so I know I'm not making it up, but I can't actually find a video of it anywhere. Does anyone have any idea of where to look to find it? It's my own personal Star Wars Holiday Special at this point.

Can you clarify what a bumper is? Do you mean theme song? Or song in a commercial?

Best answer: I scanned through a bunch of Disney Channel promo compilations—which is a real thing that exists on YouTube, sorted by year—but didn't dig it up. One thing that might help: Big Fat Liar was a Universal movie, not Disney, so anything in 2002 might have been on Nickelodeon. (There's a Yahoo! answers question asking about a Disney Channel airing of the movie in 2007, though who knows if that's when they first started airing it there.)

I think you're probably going to have to just watch a bunch of Disney and Nickelodeon commercial breaks people taped and then put up on YouTube years later. Best of luck, and God bless you for the help you'll be offering the next poor soul who Googles these lyrics once somebody finds the promo.

Perhaps on the extra features of the DVD?

Response by poster: fairmettle, I definitely first saw it on television. I suppose it's possible it could have later been used as something like menu music for the Extra Features of the DVD. I'm doubtful but it's worth a check. Thanks.

Polycarp, 2007 sounds a little late but that's a promising lead. Now that I think about it, it would be a little odd for the television airing to so soon follow its theatrical release, but the VHS was released later that same year so I wouldn't rule it out. I definitely saw it when I was Disney Channel/Nickelodeon-watching age, so pre-high school (2008) is a hard limit. I'm almost positive it was on Disney Channel and not Nickelodeon.

Right now I found a Parents Television Council list of kid-friendly movies and it seems that it at least aired on February 2, 2008 at 9:15pm EST. Even if that wasn't when I originally watched I would not be surprised at all if they reused the bumper. And there's another possible route to finding other air times.

YouTube research to follow.
