Speaker repairs for the soldering-averse

I have a set of Harman Kardon Soundsticks with a broken jack plug. I know I could replace it with something like this, but that would involve soldering which I've never done before.

Is there a way to fix it without soldering? Would something like this work?

If it's the just the plug, you could just buy another cable and splice in the end. Instead of soldering, just twist the wires together and wrap the crap out of it with electrical tape.

Best answer: If you use the terminal block, the common (or ground) wire (often a loose wrap of bare wires wrapped around the two wires that carry the right and left signals in the cable) will go to the terminal that connects to the ring furthest from the tip of the plug (closest to where the wires connect with the little screws). The other two signal-carrying wires connect to the next ring own the line (a narrower ring) and the tip connector.
