Windows 10 Filter: What Is App Explorer And Can I Safely Remove It?

I've just recently updated to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 I've encountered App Explorer, and it looks like just a listings of apps I can download. This isn't useful to me, but when I go to uninstall it, I get the message, "WARNING: Are you sure you want to uninstall App Explorer?" So, now I don't know if it's an integral part of Windows 10 or an add-on I can safely remove. If it's the latter, I'd like to declutter. Thanks!
Best answer: Specifically, Toshiba Satellite Pokki crapware, it looks like. Declutter away.
Here's a decent list of some things to check after upgrading to 10.

First item:
Stop automatic updates
Why would I not want automatic updates?

Yeah, I rushed to post without adding the caveat that I'd personally probably not recommend that one, but figured the rest were worth the price of omission. I regret that hastiness. Automatic updates are fine!

Might be related to Pokki adware, which you may have received from an incautious download or as part of pre-bundled crapware from your machine's manufacturer. In that case I would definitely delete it.
