Find my photos a new home!

Now that Flickr is broken, where can I host thousands of images?

Flickr discontinued its integration with Tumblr. I host all my pictures on Flickr and post them to Tumblr (using the queue feature, usually). Unfortunately, as linked above, I can no longer do this (images posted to Tumblr from Flickr are coming up as videos), so I need to find a new solution.

Where can I find a new host for 20,000 images, with social media integration with Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook (this is a MUST - if I had time to manually post every picture I would probably just use Flickr), album and collection sorting, metadata, and unlimited uploads and storage? I am not interested in hosting these images myself or paying a hosting company to do it for me. I'm fine with paying a yearly fee to the host. I do have a 500px account, but 500px is not a general photo-hosting site, it's a "best of portfolio" site.

I'd also accept some way to automate the manual Flickr posting process, which still does work but involves about twelve annoying, detailed steps; this is not really feasible for me to add 100+ images at a time to a Tumblr queue. IFTTT doesn't seem to offer that level of customization.

I like smugmug, though I am not sure about their social media integration (you can manually share stuff, but idk about automatic). They cost a yearly fee.

You can actually use 500px as an "everything" ground. You don't have to have all your images show up on your profile. I keep separate sets (or whatever they're called) for different events that I've covered, but those images don't show up in my main 500px stream.

Best answer: I have all of my Flickr public uploads posted to my Tumblr blog as drafts by using an IFTTT recipe. I then use Tumblr Mass Post editor (a Greasemonkey script) to load a bunch of my drafts into my queue all at once. My queue maxes out at 300, but I have not hit the max for drafts yet. The recipe only seems to work on pictures uploaded on the same day they were taken.

The other place I put my photos is Google photos, but I have not found the sharing tools to be very useful.

Photobucket?

Looking at cjmartin's responses in the linked flickr help thread, it looks like the fix for photos shared from flickr appearing as videos involves updating the tumblr theme. Apparently, some themes have already been updated to fix the issue (it looks like the one I use has been fixed), so you could try switching themes or waiting for the theme you use to be fixed. Once your theme is fixed, you'll still get credits etc. when hovering over your photo (at least I still get that), but you'll no longer get that annoying video icon. For the mobile tumblr app dashboard, the fix is apparently in a recent app update.
