How to seal Frigidaire washer tub drain hose, when there's no clamp?

I can't figure out how to fix the leak where the drain hose attaches to the tub. It doesn't have a hose clamp like all of the instructions I can find online. More inside...

Trying to fix a leak in my frigidaire washing machine, and it seems to be coming from where the drain hose attaches to the outer tub. All of the repair instructions I can find online mention tightening the hose clamp, or replacing it, but this one doesn't have a clamp at all. There's an orange rubber of some sort that seems to be a glue/seal, but I can't find anything online to help me figure out how to fix this. I'm thinking I might put some silicone sealant around it to keep it from leaking, but would appreciate any help.

You can buy screw-tight (and maybe other kinds) hose clamps at a hardware store. Measure the diameter of the hose so you know what range you need.

Can you take a picture and share the model number? There should be some kind of clamp on there, and gooping on some silicon will not fix the problem but will make it harder to fix later.

I wouldn't use silicone, as it probably won't stand up to the pressure the water pump puts out. Also, as rockindata mentioned, it will make a huge mess later on if additional repairs are needed. Your local hardware store has both the screw type and squeeze type of clamps. They are super easy to install, but you can always ask a worker if you are uncertain. Good luck!

Response by poster: Ok, I guess I was assuming that if it doesn't have a clamp that there was some other way it attached. I will get a clamp and see if that works, thanks!

Response by poster: Well, the hose clamp didn't fix it, instead it made it much worse. Here's a photo (this is after I put the clamp on):

On the pump side of the hose, the clamp screwed a few times and then felt tight. On the tub side (which is what's leaking), the clamp just kept tightening, as if there wasn't anything inside the hose to tighten against.

I can't find anything online describing a washing machine tub that doesn't use a clamp to attach the hose to the drain pump. If anyone can point me towards anything to help diagnose the problem, I'd really appreciate it!

Response by poster: I can't find a model number, here is the front panel:

This seems to be the correct hose:

I just can't figure out how it attaches, since there wasn't a clamp there to begin with, and every single thing I can find about fixing washing machines shows a clamp on hose, not one like this which has a widening lip.

Response by poster: Ack, I put the wrong links for the photos, these should work:
