Be a Mensch and Help a Goyum out with this Hanukkah Question!

Can anyone help me find a video of this Hanukkah commercial or at least identify the song?

Now that Hanukkah is over for another year, I am reminded of a Hanukkah commercial that I saw on television back in the late 60's or possibly early 70's.

It was very short, and as far as I can remember, it was a man singing a Hanukkah song accompanied to very simple animation of the Hanukkah story.

What I remember from the lyrics of the song is as follows:

Bow to the idol, the tyrant said
For Caiuphis (?) said you must pray like me!
We will worship our God!
Said the Jewish leaders called the Maccabee
The temple rededicated
Today is celebrated
For Hanukkah means liberty!

It was a very rousing melody, and at the end of the commercial there was some sort of logo that I assume was from whatever Jewish organization sponsored the commercial. I'm pretty sure it was not Hadassah, but, I won't rule them out!

This was shown on one of the local channels in Springfield, MA., and as I mentioned previously, back in the late 60's or early 70's.

Is this ringing any bells? I couldn't find anything online. Thanks!

Not old enough to recall (and lived on the wrong coast anyway) but a ever-so-pedantic note on your usage of "Goyum/Goyim" those would both be plural of the singular "Goy."

Chabad, perhaps?

Response by poster: Chabad could have been the organization! Their logo does look familiar to me. I can try including that in my searches. Thanks!

In the interest of ease of Googling, I've usually seen that name in the second line spelled Caiaphas.

That name would be "Antiochus", the bad guy of the Chanukah story.
