Looking for good plans on the Maryland Health ExchangeMy

My son is currently using NY State health insurance on the A.C.A. (Exchange). He is now staying and working in Maryland and I just went on their Exchange website and I see that the premiums seem to be far lower than they are in New York State...

So -- I'm looking for any recommendations for health care plans in Maryland. He could certainly get a catastrophic plan, but that scares me because, well, what if he gets sick or has an accident? How much will we have to pay with deductibles of e.g. $6000? I'm also not a big fan of HMOs. He's currently on a pretty good HMO United plan (Compass) in New York, but that's because we already use a number of doctors in that network. He could switch to a Maryland United HMO Compass plan, but (1) he doesn't know any doctors there and, (2) I'm reading that United may drop out of ALL the Exchanges soon!

Another thing: I thought that the first time I went to the Maryland Exchange website I saw an interstate plan, but now I can't seem to find it. It would be mighty handy if that kind of plan exists, since his doctors are in NY State but he's living in Maryland currently.

Another piece of information: we're not looking for subsidies, because my son makes such a little bit of freelance salary that he'd just be referred to Medicaid, which I'm not interested in. We, his parents, are paying the premiums.

Last bit of info: he cannot stay on our plan even though he's only 22, because he unfortunately has older parents: we're both on Medicare.

thanks for any help, if you could figure out what I'm even saying here (not sure I know myself, and, after looking at the Exchange, I have a headache).
