Recently promoted - How to reflect on resume?

I have been recently promoted and still want to continue looking for a new position. How should I state my latest position on the resume considering I do not have acomplishments to state yet on this position vs the position i got promoted from? Should I ignore the new position on the resume?

No, put your new title, keep your accomplishments the same. As you do things in your new role, add the accomplishments.

If you're assuming new duties with more responsibility, add the position with a short description and a few bullet points.

Technical Supervisor

Manage a crew of 4 technicians charged with ensuring the safety of Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.
--Confirm compliance with all State and Federal regulations.
--Liaise with NRC regarding new regulations
--Prepare all TPS Reports

You want it on there if you are looking for new work. You want to move up or laterally, so why wouldn't you want to do that from your new title rather than your old?

Yes, put it on there. You can talk about what you DO, rather than what you accomplished.

I would put it on there, but in the same section as your current job, not split off yet; either just the job title or with a brief job description if it's similar enough to what you've been doing. In a couple of months, when you have actually been doing the supervisor job, then you can split it out with more tasks and accomplishments, but right now I understand your reluctance. You know it's your duty to prepare all TPS reports but so far those reports are not due, so you have not yet done this task, I can see why you'd be cautious about claiming the experience. But, one of your major accomplishments as a Lackey was to do your job so well that you got promoted - that's definitely noteworthy!

Springfield Nuclear Plant
Technical Supervisor (Dec 2015-present)
-- Manage a team of four Technical Lackeys responsible for safety.
Technical Lackey (Mar 2012-Dec 2015)
-- Monitored plant compliance with all State and Federal regulations.
-- Completed daily compliance checklists for TPS reporting
-- Accomplished three years without safety incidents
