Sayings for Birthday cards

I'm planning on making 65 cards for a friend's milestone Birthday. I have a few ideas, but need many more suggestions on wording or sayings or funny notes. I have a bunch of saved up cat pictures that I can make fit a variety of sentiments (funny, sweet, languid, acrobatic, zonked-out, playful, etc.) so I'll be able to fit just about anything with an image. I'm open to any suggestions offered up; or links to websites with something to inspire me. Suggestions?

There are basically no restrictions, but do note that he has a dry sense of humor and we're not anyway towards romantic friends.

Puns are king here!

I asked a question a while back and Juliet Banana asked a similar question, too, about valentine's day-style puns. Obviously for a nonromantic birthday they won't all work, but many of them can be adapted into something more appropriate. Lots of great ideas there!

One thing I did for a kind of similar project - make a card that has "65" in as many languages as possible (including semaphore, braille, mathematical equation)....

“If you're not getting happier as you get older, then you're fuckin' up”― Ani DiFranco

"Anything that is in the world when you’re born is normal and ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works. Anything that’s invented between when you’re fifteen and thirty-five is new and exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it. Anything invented after you’re thirty-five is against the natural order of things." - Douglas Adams

"The chances of finding out what’s really going on in the universe are so remote, the only thing to do is hang the sense of it and keep yourself occupied." - also Douglas Adams

When my dad turned 72, I gathered up a list of facts about the number 72, things that happened in 1772/1872/1972, things that have tangential relations to the number 72. You could do something similar.

"Sentiment" is the magic search term you're looking for to find what other people have put on cards. I found this page of sentiments, which may be helpful.
