I am looking for a candy I used to buy

It was by Callard & Bowsers. It came wrapped in gold foil. It was a chocolate kinda of toffee. I have looked everywhere--it is being made and where can I get some?
Thanks all.
It sounds like Brown & Haley's Almond Roca. Is there a chance you misremembered the brand?

Best answer: I'm guessing it was Callard & Bowser Creamline Toffee. The Old Sweet Shop says Walker's Brazil Toffee is the closest you will find.

Callard & Bowser used to do a range of different flavoured toffees (creamline, licorice, strawberry, etc). I haven't seen them for years, sadly. I suspect they no longer exist.

Brazil Toffee is literally toffee with flecks of brazil nut in it, and it does taste nutty. The English Creamy variety might be a better match.

I don't know if it matters to prk60091, but I used to love the same Callard & Bowser toffees, and part of the experience was the packaging I liked so much, like the box on the left here. Even if I could find something that matched the flavor I'd miss the package. Would that be a factor for you too, prk60091
