Where can I get these mirror photo frames and/or what are they called?

A friend's parents have had a display of family photos up for many years. Most of them look to be mounted behind mirrors that have been partially de-silvered, like this. Judging by the the whole collection, it looks to me like these frames were purchased from the same manufacturer.

The newest one is probably 30 years old. She is trying to surprise her parents with photos in similar mirrored frames, so she can't ask them where they got these. My Googlery has failed me. Does anyone have a clue as to a source, or maybe better magic Google words than I have used? (Note: I have found do-it-yourself instructions. Assume that although she loves her parents dearly, she may not love them enough to mess around with removing silver from a mirror herself.)

Could she enlist a visitor to casually ask about the frames and report back?

Oh! Here's someone making similar frames on Etsy.

So actually, maybe it wouldn't be too hard to make these. Find vintage wood photo frames (thrift shops) in a similar style, and then mask off the space for the photo, and spray the back of the glass with mirror spray paint or do a weathered mirror paint effect on the back.
