Why does my tablet keep turning off

I have this tablet case. I have an Asus transformer pad minus they keyboard base. The case works fine one way, but the tablet sleeps if it's rotated 180 degrees in the case.

The case works wonderfully so long as the corner with the power button is on the inside spine (and thus the bottom when using the tablet horizontally). If it's on the outside the tablet goes to sleep. The tablet holder rotates in the case so this happens both when I spin it without adjusting any of the tabs holding it in place and if I remove the tablettablet, rotate it, and then reinsert it.

I've checked to make sure that the tabs aren't covering the off button, it will work fine for months then I'll accidentally rotate it around and it'll shut off with no other changes. It won't turn on for longer than a flicker once it's in that position. It comes back instantly once I switch it back around. It does it every time. I can't figure out what would be happening.

Best answer: Is there a magnet in the case? I've seen warnings on magnetic-closure cases that they will put a tablet or laptop to sleep if the magnet is near the device's sleep sensor.

Response by poster: That's it dayintoday. There's a flap that comes down to let up use the camera, apparently it had a magnet in there to keep it down and make the whole this useless since it turns off the tablet when the camera is in position.
Now to find out how to remove /shield the magnet. Thanks!
