Suggest me some contemporary-ish music involving player pianos.

I noticed that Dan Deacon uses player piano on some of his tracks. So now I'm curious about how contemporary musicians are using player pianos (contemporary defined fairly broadly) in their music. Also open to music involving other computer controlled real-world instruments!

You can see the player piano doing stuff at around 1:46 in this video.

Check out Pat Metheny's Orchestrion project, which has roots in his childhood fascination with a player piano.

Benn Jordan d.b.a. The Flashbulb just put out an album of might-be-computer-controlled piano music this year. Here's a video of the piano at work.

Aphex Twin released an EP entitled Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments pt. 2 earlier this year, with (Disklavier) piano being one of the instruments in question (example track).

Squarepusher recently put out an EP (Music for Robots) of music he composed for the z-machines: instrument-playing robots.

The contemporary Latvian composer Rytis Mažulis has produced some interesting works for computer-contolled piano, for example, Clavier of Pure Reason.

Another contemporary composer who has made pieces for player-piano is Tom Johnson: see his Study for Player Piano #1, for example.

György Ligeti adapted some of his piano études for player-piano, e.g.: Étude no. 9 ‘Vertige’.

I saw the P. A. M. Band (Partially Automated Musicians) at the Maker Faire in Queens some weeks back. The composer Kurt Coble was manning the ship. His piece Nosferatu Reinvented was lovely.

Also at the Faire was a robotic gamelan The Gamelatron by Aaron Taylor Kuffner.
