Population Map?

Where can I find a world or US map where the size of each country/state reflects its population?

For example, China and India are enormous and distended and Canada is shrunked and tiny, etc?

Google searching (and Metafilter searching) has provided a wealth of maps that are not what I'm looking for. I don't want anything that factors in election results or anything-- just a geographic map distorted by population. I'd like something both attractive and printable, as I'll be using it for a presentation at work.

Thanks so much!!

Well, you can find a bunch of ‘em online by Googling for world, population, and cartogram. Here’s one, for example.

Ah, yes. "Cartogram" seems to be what was disastrously missing-- had no clue that's what they are called.

Thanks, these help a lot!

Peters Map might be of interest to you - especially after showing the population one?
