Name for Wood Box?

Anyone know the term for a book-like box about a particular wood made from that wood?
Its an odd name, which has escaped me. Basically its a box built from the outside bark of the tree which, when opened, has twigs and leaves and maybe scientific information about said tree inside. Thanks in advance.
