Advance voting in the Canadian election while unregistered

For the upcoming Canadian election on Oct. 19, I would like to vote in advance. However, I am not registered to vote, and cannot register through the online system as I do not have an Ontario driver's license. Is it possible for me to vote in advance if I'm not registered?

Best answer: Of course! You can register and vote all at once with two pieces of ID on the list. Just bring the required items to your polling place on one of the advance polling days. You can also register and vote in advance at any Elections Canada office, but only up to the 13th. Put your postal code in here to find out where to vote.

Just a note- there's a difference between "advance polls" and what I've heard referred to as special polls- advance polls run from Oct 9-12 and are at the location specified on your voter card (or you can find out from a registered voter) and that is NOT the same location as at the special early polls that are managed at Elections Canada offices, which run THROUGH the 13th. In my riding I can vote at Elections Canada at the former Holy Cross Hospital complex any day through the 13th, but the formal advance poll is at the University of Calgary, and the election-day polling station is at the Bankview Scouts Hall- be sure you know where you're supposed to go.
