How long is the Oddball Comedy show?

We have tickets for the Oddball Comedy Fest this weekend. There are nine comedians on the bill. Has anyone been? Any idea what the show schedule will look like?

The show is scheduled to start at 5:15. Because we are old, and grandpa is babysitting, I don't want to arrive at 5pm for a show that will end at 10pm. Ideally, we'll skip the first 3 or 4 comedians and catch the last 4 or 5.

We went to the one in Detroit last year (two years ago? whenever). I forget how long we lasted, but each comic on the main stage gets at least a 20-minute set. If you get there at 7, you'll see the last 4 or 5.

I went to that a few years ago, and yeah...it says 5:15 but the show does not actually start until 7-730 or so. My friend and I left a little early to beat the crowd heading out and that was around 1030pm.

Seeing Etrigans preview now it sounds like maybe my memory is off...? But I'm fairly sure the show didn't start for us that time until at least an hour or two after 5:15. I remember a lot of sitting around waiting for things to happen while they showed comedy vids on the big screen.

We went to the Pittsburgh show last year. According to Google's creepy but useful location history feature, we were there from around 5pm until 9pm, but the first 2 hours or so was a "second stage" type thing that's totally skippable if they're doing that again this year. I'd say the main stage was active from about 7pm until 9:30pm, but we left a few minutes into Bill Burr's closing set because... well, because Bill Burr.

Best answer: Here's the set times from one of this year's shows. It looks like the main stage is from 7 PM to whenever Aziz's 9:55 set ends.

I went to the Oddball Comedy Show last year in Irvine, California. Like Sprezzy mentioned, the show didn't start until around 7pm so getting to the venue early was fairly useless except to secure a decent parking spot. The show was worth watching around 8:30 and beyond.

One thing to mention; I left the show during the last set to avoid the chaos of cars trying to leave the venue at the end of the show. Ended up missing the *surprise* guest comedian, DAVE CHAPELLE, who came on afterward. I would recommend coming late and leaving later to avoid such tragedies.

I went to the show in Kansas City this year. They had local comedians on a side stage from 5.30 until 7. After that, the "real" show started. Taking into account a 35-45 minute rain delay, the show went from 7 until 11.30pm.
