tasty multivitamin please

I was in Australia recently and they had a multivitamin I was actually willing to use daily and it was awesome! I hear they have tablet --> beverage multivitamins in Brazil, too. So I'm looking for a tasty multivitamin. Like Berocca, but available in the USA.

That's basically the full question. No gelatin, I'm particularly interested in a tablet or powder that turns into a beverage, I don't need excessive amounts of vitamin C. I'm willing to buy it online, but hopefully it will be a north america based multivitamin so i'm not paying a million dollars on shipping.

Berocca *is* available in the USA. At least, I have seen commercials for it here in the US. I haven't seen it in any stores, but then, I haven't been looking for it.

It looks like Berocca is available at Target.

There's a German effervescent multivitamin that seems to be popular (and available) on Amazon, so you wouldn't be spending a whole lot on shipping.

Response by poster: Berocca at Target in the US is prohibitive at over $2/tablet according to that link. That German multivitamin is the right track, but it's not as complete as berocca (at a glance, no magnesium, calcium, zinc).

Berocca is also available on Amazon: Mixed Berry, Orange. Though I don't know how much shipping would be for you, it shows up as $5 for me (for the Orange flavour) and I'm not even in the States.

As the Amazon reviews note, US Berocca is a different formulation with added caffeine and guarana. Not recommended. Does Ola Loa fit the bill?

Response by poster: That Berocca is still more than twice what it cost me when I was in Australia, which is why, if it exists, I was hoping to find an alternative.

Try Aldi. They have something similar to berocca, more multivitamin than b vitamin focused like berocca

Berocca is just vitamin B and C and a couple of minerals so not strictly a "multivitamin". It's possible you were taking something like Swisse Ultivite.

Krueger looks like it is popular in the States. I guess the prices are probably calculating differently but at around $16 for a pack of six tubes, with twenty tablets per tube, that's 120 days' worth at like 13c a dose, which is pretty decent.

Amazon reviews say it "tastes good"...hard to argue with that!

Response by poster: It was definitely berocca: the tube says it contained vitamins b1, b2, b3, b5, b6, b12, c, (but only 500mg) h, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, and zinc. It looks like kreuger is less comprehensive. I couldn't find the Aldi multivitamin online anywhere, is there a link so I know what to look for?

Ola Loa looks like it is on the right track. It's somewhat over the top with the vitamin C but I guess there's probably no way around that. It's also a lot lower in several of the vitamins and minerals than Berocca is, but if nothing else turns up, I'll be giving it a try.

The term you want to look for is 'effervescent' vitamins or tablets - there are several smaller brands.

Unfortunately i couldn't find any info about the aldi ones online. I'm in Australia but they taste like the ones Ive had in Germany so hopefully they are available in US Aldi stores too but the websites (Oz and US) werent very helpful. I'm out of it myself but if i pick some up I'll see ifi can find more details.

Berocca in other countries never tastes like the Australian stuff unfortunately so might be a disappointment even if it wasnt crazy expensive.

Not Aldi US, which has a tiny health/beauty section compared to European Aldis.

Every supermarket and discount retailer in the UK has its own-label Berocca knock-off, but that's only helpful if you go to the UK semi-regularly and remember to stock up, or have someone who can mule a few tubes over.

If you run out of options, you can ask someone on reddit's /r/snackexchange.

Alternatively MeMail me and we can work something out, but it would come from the UK, not Australia.

Response by poster: After considering all the options and trying something else, I decided to buy Berocca online until I can find something better. The best deal I found (for now) was to buy in bulk with http://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/Shop-Online/610/Berocca, which ships internationally.
