RSS Reader / sync that supports HTTP authenticated feeds?

I've always just used NetNewsWire, but the new version is out and it's uninspiring, so I'm considering my options. Sync and online options would be nice, but I have some authenticated feeds. Do any of the online RSS readers support HTTP basic auth?

If you're ok with putting your credentials in the URL, I think NewsBlur can handle this.

tt-rss supports authenticated feeds.

I use TT-RSS, but you'll need to install it on a sever yourself if you want to use it. Thunderbird also supports authenticated feeds, if a non-web solution is of interest.

Response by poster: I'm interested in OS X RSS clients, but it's easier to find authentication support there. If nothing else I can keep running NetNewsWire 3 until the OS changes enough that it breaks. It's rarer in web because it breaks the assumption that your users are mostly fetching the same feeds, giving an economy of scale.
