Netgear wifi-extender: I can't get past the second-to-last setup page

I have just bought the Netgear N300 WiFi Range Extender (EX2700), and followed the instructions to the letter. I connect to the extender, tell it which network to extend, put in the router password, and get to "name your extended network." I leave the default name and security and click "continue." NOTHING HAPPENS. Please help.

On every single screen before this one, clicking "Continue" moved me to the next screen, so obviously the network is up and the password is correct.

I'm on Mac OS X 10.10.4 on a MacBook Pro.

Here's a snapshot of the screen where clicking "Continue" does nothing.

Please help me I'm going to set my hair on fire

Did you try unchecking the "same password" box? Not that that's the answer but it's what I'd try next.

Have you tried a different web browser? Safari, Firefox, or Chrome? Sometimes developers do dumb things that work for the browser they use but not yours.

Or try changing the name of the extender's network just to see if that gives you a result?
