Automated Bluetooth file transfers

Is there anyway to automate Bluetooth file transfers on Windows SP2 using the Microsoft Bluetooth software? (This is a followup of sorts to a previous query of mine.)

I couldn't get reliable Palm hot syncing with the Widcomm Bluetooth software and so went back to the default SP2 drivers. But the Microsoft Bluetooth software is dumb, and simple things like file transfers require far more steps than with the Widcomm software. Is there any way to keep the reliable MS driver but get more functionality?
