Is there an independent shop that services Chevy Volts in Los Angeles?

I'm wondering if anybody knows of an independent service shop that is able to service Chevy Volts in Los Angeles? I'm thinking about buying a used Volt, and just hate the idea of having to take it to the dealer for any service it may need. For any repairs, I'd like to be able to take it to a mechanic that has been suitably trained on the Volt. Also, I'd like them to be able to do my pre-purchase inspection when I do find the Volt that I want.

I don't have a direct answer for your question, but we use an independent hybrid/electric garage in San Francisco, who may be able to refer you to an equivalent place in LA.

I think your best bet is a dealership that has a general manager who loves the Volt.

In Los Angeles, I'd direct you to Keyes Chevrolet or Rydell Chevrolet.

They are both active in the GM-Volt forum, and I think they are the two highest-volume Volt dealerships.
