Italian Videos

I am looking for videos in Italian. I want something like this puppet show, but in Italian, not French. Basically I want Sesame Street or The Muppets in Italian.

So I would like media to watch. I prefer the ability to toggle English subtitles off and on, but given the choice I'll take none over always on. Bonus points for puppets, but not required.

I'll take any quality video that's not too complex, but I am also not looking for Blue's Clues. I want something that will keep my attention even if I can't understand most the words.

I have the major streaming services available to me, and am not opposed to paying money for content. I do not have a DVD player or any other way to consume non-digital media.

It looks like there is "Pocoyo" in Italian on YouTube. That is pretty entertaining and not too high context-y.

How do you feel about vintage stuff? The original Topo Gigio was in Italian.

Apart from the Muppet Show in Italian, I'd second Topo Gigio. Original modern marionettes/puppetry weren't ever a huge thing on italian TV, neither of the Muppet, Guignols or Spitting Image sort.

You might enjoy the surrealism-light of La Pimpa, if cartoons could be an alternative for you.

Response by poster: Cartoons are fine. Vintage is fine. Live action is fine as well if it's something engaging and not too complex. More Pee Wee's Playhouse and less Teletubbies.
