I Want to Eat Seafood By the Water in Brooklyn

I want to eat seafood by the water in Brooklyn. Where do I go? I'm talking non-fancy messes of crab and fried shrimp.

My husband wants to go eat seafood tonight and is willing to drive or take the train a bit, but we don't really know where to go. He likes Clemente's a bunch, but doesn't want to go there; I figure there have to be plenty of neighborhood seafood places on the water we can reach but just don't know about. We're in Williamsburg so have access to all sorts of trains via the L. we
Don't want anything fancy, just like the sort of place you'd find on City Island. Any suggestions?

Is Randazzo's what you are looking for? They don't have a waterfront deck but they do have great seafood (and sauce).

Brooklyn Crab in Red Hook is exactly it!

Yes, Brooklyn Crab! You would probably want to drive there; it's bus-accessible but would be a bother from the L.

Sounds like Brooklyn Crab is the pick here but I'm chiming in to say that I enjoyed Randazzo's as a kid! Total old-school Brooklyn experience and not the tourist trap you'd imagine it is.
