Strong Women for a Little Woman

I am looking for images/posters of strong and powerful women to hang in my young daughter's room. So far I have considered "Votes for Women"/Suffragettes and the "We Can Do It" wartime poster. Any more suggestions?

There are a number of nice posters (note: this is more an example than nice) which feature Eleanor Roosevelt.

Pick up two copies of the book Rad American Women A - Z. Cut up one copy and turn the images into an awesome mosaic. Read the other copy!

Roller derby posters? A lot of the artwork can be cheesecakey, but you can find ones using actual action shots of the skaters.

If you're down with sports, pretty much every sport except American football will have high-level women athletes or teams that would make cool posters - the USWNT and the NWSL, the WNBA, the new women's hockey league, and loads of individual athletes in tennis, swimming, gymnastics, etc. Lots of diverse options here.

These images are much too small for posters, but you could make high-quality prints on smaller pieces of cardstock and I bet they'd look awesome: Beyonce as Rosie the Riveter, Beyonce in front of a light-up backdrop that says FEMINIST.

There are a lot of inspirational posters at Zen Pencils They include quotes from a huge range of people, including many strong women. They also include drawings/cartoons inspired by the quotes usually telling a story, so even if she is too young to fully understand the quote at the moment the story told by the illustrations are pretty damn inspirational too.

Sarah Connor in Terminator 2. Or the actress who played her, Linda Hamilton, who had a baby eight months earlier. When she saw the very well muscled Linda in T2, Cher decided she wanted to know "who did That to her", tracked down the trainer and created one or more excercise videos with him.
