Enable my coconut iced coffee obsession

What is the best coconut syrup (for making coffee drinks) that money can buy? For reference, I used to like the Starbucks seasonal one but this year apparently it's changed and tastes strange. Assume I have access to any national US chain store and am willing to order online. I saw the previous question about making one's own via simple syrup + coconut extract and will do that if that's the best answer.

this isnt exactly what you're asking as its not a syrup, but while i usually take all of my coffee (hot or iced) black, i make an exception when we have Califia coconut almond milk in the house. id never put it in a hot cup but its great with iced.

That is, imho, the best answer. I long ago stopped buying syrups and make my own. That way, I can make the flavor of the syrup as strong or as light as I wish. And, it costs pennies to make.

Answering a different question, since this all started when Starbucks changed their recipe, Peets does better tasting coconut iced coffee. They generally have the ingredients even when it's not displayed on the board.

Another vote for simple syrup and coconut extract. The only reason I even bother with the Torani coconut syrup in my kitchen right now is that I rarely throw anything away.

Response by poster: Thanks, all. I'll give the Monin syrup a try (BTW, googling reveals that may be what Peet's uses also) and if that's not satisfactory, go the homebrew route.
