Where does the Muji store source their stamps?

The Muji stores in Palo Alto and San Jose (possibly others) have a stamp station where you can stamp their stationary, bags, etc. One of the self-inking stamps is an elephant. I want that stamp because it's awesome. But it is not for sale by Muji, and I was unable to locate their source (their employees didn't know either). Does anyone know if I can purchase these stamps, and if so, where?

It's likely they're made specifically for Muji. If you can scan a print of that elephant stamp, you could have a new one made for $10-20. Vistaprint (and many other places) can make custom self-inking stamps.

Muji does sell stamps, although apparently not the elephant one, and they have those stamp stations in hundreds of stores. I'm sure they're custom made. But it's a very simple design, you could get one made or have someone on Etsy do it for you.

I would think those stamps are from a discontinued collection. Muji tend to switch things around a bit and looking at the online stores of a few countries they still sell stamps (example 1, example 2) but only wooden ones right now, and I didn't spot the elephant anywhere.

You could wait and hope Muji brings it back in some form, but if you really want it I suggest you get one custom made as mentioned above. Or you could go to the store and ask them really nicely if you can have the elephant.
