What plant is this?

Can anyone identify this indoor plant, seen at an office in north Texas? Thanks!

Do you have any pictures in focus? It looks suspiciously... artificial. Or sick. There are weird thickened bits and strange bumps, but without being in focus it's hard to tell. It also looks like branches in a vase, not a plant.

I'm thinking some kind of euphorbia.

It doesn't look like an indoor plant. It looks like cut branches in a vase.

It reminds me of chicory, sans the blue flowers.
