Modern US culture RSS feed

I'm getting into rss feeds. I just added one from moreintelligentlife.com. Now I would like to add something with edgy, current U.S. culture articles. Arts, literature, science topics are welcome, but nothing political. Needs to have rss feed, or I will never remember to look at them. Any suggestions?

Kottke is always fun, if a couple days behind, and Mefilter after all is available as rss.

Science Daily has over 400 general category and specific topic RSS feeds. To avoid information overload, I recommend the general category feeds.

I have each of these in my RSS reader (Feedly):

Los Angeles Review of Books

Nautilus

Pacific Standard

The Appendix (which, sadly, appears to be winding down)

Flavorwire

Oh, forgot one! The Rumpus.

Good thing the RSS reader updates automatically.
