Happy jam band anthems?

Recommendations for jam band/funk anthemic songs?

I saw a show last night that I feel opened up a whole new genre of music for me. I don't really have the vocabulary to describe it. There were a lot of people with dreadlocks and light up hoola hoops. The music was amazing and I'm looking for more happy anthemic sort of jam band music I guess. Preferably newer. My favorite songs from last night had a touch of nostalgia to them, really pretty sort of sad melodies that were still really uplifting.

George Clinton has been around forever and still going strong.

A couple good upbeat Phish anthems:
- Simple
- Run Like an Antelope
- Weekapaug Groove

If you like those PM me and I'll hook you up! Not sure what show you saw last night but Phish summer tour starts in July, and I'd highly highly recommend catching them if they come anywhere near you.

'jam band' and 'anthem' seem mutually exclusive to me. i bet lots more answers would be available with a clearer definition of what you think an 'anthem' is.

The Dead have a bunch of 'anthemic' songs, like GDTRFB or Truckin, or One More Saturday Night.
